Tax free child, universal funding, 2Help funding and Working parents Entitlement funding from 9 month to 4 years.
Worth knowing. Children who access any type of Early Years Entitlement Claims from 9 months to 4 years, in the mornings can only begin their sessions at 8am. If you require your child to come in from 7:30am, this will be charged at £4.75. Food Charges - these are charged if a parent/carer chooses for their child to have nursery food when completing their early years entitlement contract. If you do not wish to pay for meals, we will require that the child is provided with a packed lunch box from home, covering.

What it is like to attend
Children flourish in this warm and welcoming nursery. They show that they feel safe, secure and happy. Children form strong attachments with staff, who spend time getting to know them and their families. Staff support children in understanding their own emotions. For example, during a group activity, children talk about their feelings and why they feel a certain way. Children understand daily routines and follow the rules for circle time. Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) to join in with group activities.
Children explore the environment enthusiastically and access the available resources.
Children learn about healthy lifestyles; for example, they know how to brush their teeth and enjoy being active outdoors. Staff support babies' physical development; they hold their hands and encourage them to walk. Babies enjoy this and smile as they move around the room. Children enjoy healthy, home-cooked food with seasonal ingredients. They gain independence as they serve their own food and drinks at lunchtime. Older children take part in Spanish and dance classes every other week. Children enjoy taking home borrowing bags and 'Clover the Cow', who is a soft toy, to share adventures with.

What to ask them

- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
