What it is like to attend
Children thrive at this exceptional nursery and make the best progress possible.
Children become deeply engaged from a young age. Staff instinctively follow children's leads, allowing plenty of time for children to explore the resources on offer. Links between children's different experiences are paired seamlessly with the intentions of each room. For instance, babies look at photographs of their visit to the supermarket and identify the friends they see in the pictures. This is alongside them exploring the vegetables they selected on their outing. Older children work collaboratively as they grind and explore coffee beans. Staff encourage them to explain their understanding of the challenging vocabulary being used, and they respond without hesitation. For instance, they confidently share examples to illustrate their understanding of dehydration.
Children engage in deep discussions with visiting adults, talking about their favourite things to do at nursery. Behaviour is exemplary and children freely share their deep understanding of the rules in place. Children are involved in the general running of the nursery, giving them a strong sense of purpose and belonging. They take outings to the nearby pharmacy to ensure that the first aid kit is fully stocked.

- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
