What it is like to attend
Children arrive at the setting eager and ready to start their day. Familiar staff know the children and parents well and greet them warmly. Older children find their friends in the 'pirate room' and investigate the activities set out for them. Younger children settle quickly with caring staff in a bright, spacious room. Learning is planned to build on what children already know and can do.
Staff promote children's communication effectively. They encourage children to join in conversations to help to extend their understanding and use of language. Staff introduce new words and give clear instructions. This helps to engage children in their learning and supports them to become effective communicators in readiness for their future learning.

- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
