What it is like to attend
Children arrive at the setting happy and eager to learn. They are welcomed by warm and friendly staff. Staff create a well-organised and stimulating environment, which includes real objects and natural materials for children to explore. Children have endless play opportunities inside and outside. Their communication and language skills are excellent. Staff sit among children in small groups, asking questions and showing a genuine interest in children's ideas. Children feel valued.
They invent role-play games and joyfully express their ideas using language.
Children are engaged, interested and enthusiastic.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- embed the curriculum intent so that all staff share the same vision and focus on what they want children to learn next n develop children's independence further by supporting them to complete tasks for themselves.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
