Worth knowing. Funding is free at point of delivery and zero charged. Funded sessions offered in the morning 09:00-12:00, as a 6hr day from 09:00-15:00, and limited afternoon spaces 13:00-16:00. Additional private hours and services charged at an hourly rate. Parents accessing a 6hr funded day can bring a packed lunch or pay for the hot lunch. Parents only accessing a NIL cost free funded place will be asked if they would like to pay a voluntary consumable charge.

What it is like to attend
Children are happy and settled at nursery. Babies settle quickly into the nursery environment. They are content and inquisitive. Older children make good friendships with others. They show delight when their friends arrive at the start of the session and quickly invite them to join in with their play. Staff support transitions into the nursery and throughout the nursery very well. A comprehensive settling-in process means even the newest children feel safe and secure. Staff are kind and caring and respond to children's emotional needs well. Babies form strong bonds with staff. They seek out their key person for reassurance and a cuddle then happily move off to explore. Older children confidently invite staff to join in with their play. Staff promote a 'can-do' attitude; even the youngest children are encouraged to use cutlery to self-feed at lunchtime.
Children benefit from an exciting range of activities that they readily join in with. As a result, all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), are making good progress. Children are gaining the skills they need to help prepare them for their future learning, including their eventual move on to school.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- continue to embed the newly implemented curriculum to ensure that children continue to make consistently good progress in their learning and development n build on the support given to staff to ensure that they all offer children the same high-quality interactions during routine activities to further extend children's learning experiences.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
