15 hours – for all children aged 3–4 (universal entitlement); 30 hours – for eligible working families of 3–4-year-olds; 2-year-old funding – for some eligible children; Funding from 9 months – for eligible working families.
Worth knowing. Funding covers 38 weeks of the year so if your child attends all year, the funding will be split across 51 weeks. Meals, snacks and additional experiences are not included in government funding. Funded hours are taken as part of our normal nursery sessions. Families can stretch funded hours across the year (subject to availability).

What it is like to attend
All children are warmly welcomed into this inclusive and supportive nursery.
Children are very happy here and their safety is a priority. Children thrive on the positive relationships they develop with both their peers and members of staff.
Children behave well and achieve very high levels of independence. They become confident, curious learners who are keen to explore the very appealing and accessible learning environment. Children demonstrate a very strong sense of belonging and warmly welcome visitors to their nursery. Children are eager to talk about what they are doing and what they have learned, explaining that carnivores eat meat.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- extend the programme of professional development to raise staff's understanding and confidence in delivering a strong educational programme for mathematics n strengthen the educational programme to deepen children's understanding of the diversity of life in modern Britain n enhance the provision for outdoor learning.

- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Is there a place for my child's age? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
