What it is like to attend
Children are highly valued by a long serving, deeply caring staff team in this very close-knit nursery. Children often see the nursery as 'their second home' as stated by a parent spoken to during the inspection. Staff take great care to greet each child very warmly on arrival and build very close bonds with children.
The curriculum is extremely well thought out and linked intrinsically to children's skills and interests. All children make excellent progress. They are deeply engrossed in a very broad variety of highly absorbing and stimulating activities.
Staff teach children about the world around them in very well structured and enriching way. For instance, children explore the smell and texture of tomatoes and cucumbers. They chop them to find seeds which they plant in the nursery garden.

- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
