What it is like to attend
Staff know children exceptionally well. From the moment children join, staff take time to understand their interests, home backgrounds and stages of development.
This supports children to have a smooth and confident settling-in process. A strong key-person system places a clear focus on children's well-being and personal development. Each session begins with circle time, during which staff reinforce their expectations and introduce the day's activities. Staff thoughtfully split the groups to ensure that all children remain engaged. This allows younger or lessconfident children to participate comfortably. Staff skilfully incorporate British values in ways that are appropriate to children's developmental stages. For example, they clarify rules, reinforce expectations and promote respect and cooperation.
Children are extremely happy in the setting. They thrive in the nurturing environment. Children form strong attachments with staff, whose interactions are consistently warm, caring and sensitive. Children's behaviour is exemplary. They confidently recall expectations, such as sharing, taking turns, listening and using good manners. Staff are committed to helping all children to make strong progress through a well-planned curriculum based on their interests and next steps.
