Free early years entitlement (F.E.Y.E) and two year old funded places.
Worth knowing. We offer a limited amount of free places for the F.E.Y.E universal or extended offers and two year old funded offer. These are allocated on a first-come first-served basis each academic year and are subject to availability. Once these places are taken, parents are able to opt for available places within each offer, combining sessions to include both free and paid childcare.

What it is like to attend
Children are happy and settled at this very friendly and warm setting. They build strong bonds with staff, who are caring, calm and kind. Staff and children enjoy each other's company as they dance, share books and build with toy bricks.
Support for children's emotional development is a strength of the setting. Staff are very positive role models. They support and encourage children and clearly praise their achievements. This helps to build children's confidence and self-esteem. Staff talk to children about different emotions and use symbols to help children express how they feel. They support children to feel a sense of ownership and belonging.
For example, staff encourage children to make choices and decisions about how the nursery is resourced. Staff support children well as they move through the daily routine. They use songs and sand timers to help children to understand when it is time to tidy up and move on to the next activity.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- ensure that, across the setting, children are consistently provided with the support they need to develop their practical independence skills n develop strategies to support children's listening and attention skills at smallgroup times and activities.

- What does it cost, all in? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
