What it is like to attend
Children's happiness and thirst for knowledge are apparent in this wonderful nursery. Staff are excellent role models, who constantly strive for the best outcomes for children. They are meticulous in the ways they meet children's care and learning needs. Children enjoy a curriculum that is innovative and incredibly well adapted for their particular interests. The environments are exciting and provide rich learning opportunities. Children are totally engrossed as they confidently explore the excellent range of resources. Staff skilfully support and enhance children's learning through their consistently high-quality teaching and interactions.
Staff meet children's emotional needs exceptionally. New children quickly settle into the nursery routines and make strong bonds with their key person. Staff know the children really well and are very tuned into their emotions. Children show much awareness of the needs of others. For example, when there are loud noises outside the nursery, children ask staff if the noises will wake the babies up. Children invite others to join in with their projects, such as using blocks to build a special structure. When children are struggling to manage their feelings, staff skilfully support them. Children develop a clear understanding of the importance of being kind and respectful to others. Staff speak about children with much affection and are incredibly proud of their 'nursery family'.

- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
