What it is like to attend
Children have a great start to their education. Interactions with staff are extremely positive and help to build strong relationships. Children are welcomed warmly into the setting and seek comfort from adults. They receive lots of cuddles and reassurance. Children behave very well and show respect for each other. Children are supported to develop a good understanding of their emotions and how to cope with different feelings. They talk about feeling excited or scared and what they can do when experiencing these emotions. This helps children to develop their language and builds on their confidence.
Children confidently explore the garden. Staff provide children with many opportunities to develop their physical skills outdoors. Children develop coordination as they run up and down hills and climb on a large climbing frame.
Staff encourage children to consider safety and talk about being careful around other children when running and climbing. Children show high levels of engagement in play, both indoors and outdoors.
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
