Funding is available for the children in the term following, being 9 mths old, or either their 2nd or 3rd birthday. Funded sessions: 9mths – 2 years – 30 hours – Term time only or stretched over 51 weeks per year for working parents. Funded sessions : 2 years – 30 hours – Term time only or stretched over 51 weeks per year for working parents. Funded sessions 3-4 – 30 hours – Term time only or stre.
Worth knowing. To cover additional costs, including meals, we have a voluntary Quality Premium of £1.75 per hour. Parents have the option to provide a packed lunch/snack or meals can be purchased, lunch is £5.50, tea is £5.00. 1 snack is 80p 2 snacks £1.20 per day.

What it is like to attend
Children arrive happy and content. They thoroughly enjoy their time at nursery and separate from parents easily. They are excited to greet their key person with a cuddle. They feel safe and secure and staff know the children and families well.
Children confidently select activities and know that staff are there for reassurance and support when needed. They benefit from a wide range of enjoyable activities and experiences across all areas of learning and development, indoors and outdoors. The staff team plan activities that interest and excite children. For example, in the pre-school room, children set up tents to extend imaginative play after some children had recently had the experience of camping.
Staff have high expectations for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Children behave well and know the routine of the day at nursery. Staff are aware of the impact that the COVID-19
What Ofsted told them to improve
To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- strengthen supervision, training and coaching to identify staff's training needs promptly and raise the quality of education to a consistently high level n be more specific on what information is shared with parents, to ensure there is a sharp focus on how they support their children's further learning at home.

- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
