Funded hours
Nursery Education Funding is available for three and four year olds. This will entitle you to claim up to 15 hours free (5 sessions). You may also be entitled to 30 hours of childcare funding. We also accept funded 2's & 15 hour funding for working parents 0f 2.5-3 year olds.
Worth knowing. Children in receipt of funded 2's or Early years Pupil Premium will be excempt from all charges.

What it is like to attend
Children quickly settle in the pre-school. They are greeted by friendly staff, who spend time with them, helping to ensure they are ready to play and learn in the inviting group rooms and garden. Children quickly find toys and equipment they like and are interested in. This helps to trigger their curiosity and enthusiasm to build on what they know and understand.
Children feel valued in the pre-school. They are proud to share things they know about other countries and cultures their families have links with. This contributes to children's growing self-worth and identity. Children sit together and talk about the rules they would like to follow. Their ideas and contributions are respected by staff.
Children talk about being kind and sharing. They vote for the rules they think are important, helping them begin to understand the concept of democracy.

To further improve the quality of the early years provision, the provider should:
- provide children with the correct information about what objects are and how they work to help minimise misconceptions and extend learning even further.

- Is £21.00 a session still the rate? What is on top: meals, nappies, late pick-up, and what happens if you are late.
- How do you apply my funded hours? Whether they stretch them over the year, and the minimum days you have to book.
- Do you have a place for a child of my age now? Baby rooms fill first and waiting lists are common.
- Who would my child's key person be? And how long have the staff been there. No dataset holds this and it matters more than anything above.
- Can I visit at a busy time? Mid-morning on a weekday tells you far more than an empty room after hours.
